Custom rotational molding has many advantages Rotational Molding is a highly flexible method of manufacturing plastic products that allows for a multitude of design options. Your products can be produced with rotomolding and you will experience significant cost advantages over other forms of molding such as vacuum forming and blow molding. Rotomolding produces parts with a consistent wall thickness and strong outside corners that are stress free. You can use materials that meet FDA requirements, make the part weather resistant, flame retardant, or static free. Parts can be multi-walled that are either hollow or foam-filled. Flexibility is the key. Rotational molding can produce your product in a cost effective manner. Mold design and manufacture is less expensive than other types of molding. From one-of-a-kind prototypes and for large production runs, you will find us to be a cost effective for you.

A cost effective solution Consider the initial costs. Our tooling costs are typically much less expensive than injection molding. The molding process does not require that the molds be designed to withstand the hydraulic pressures that injection molding molds do. Many times, a product that is made with other molding process will require the company to add 'value-added' steps to complete the assembly of the product. We attempt to design our molds with those added functions and items molded directly into the product. However, if additional assembly is required, Coon Manufacturing will provide that so that you will receive a ready-to-use product at your door. Complete and on time. A stronger product Rotomolding has a number of inherent design strengths. You will end
up with a product with super strong corners and a consistent wall thickness.
By proper design, you'll get additional strength. Need double wall thickness?
Rotational molding is a great way to have consistent cavities in your
product. Need inserts, threads, handles, undercuts, or fine surface detail?
These can be designed into your product from the very beginning. Need
a highly durable, chemically and weather resistant product? Rotational
molding is the solution. |
